Nicholas David spent most of 2015 bringing his “music from the heart for the heart” coast to coast; ending the year with a very magical Hometown Holiday Show and Toy Drive at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, MN in early December.
His Annual St. Nick’s Day Show was a success. Due to the generous hearts of the fans, we ended up needing a DELIVERY TRUCK to deliver the toys to the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital.
While Nicholas dropped the toys off in Minneapolis, he payed a visit to the West Bank where he spent almost a decade cutting his teeth as a musician. Fresh out of high school he dipped his feet in MN Music History at the 5 Corners Saloon. Nicholas then jumped around to the historic 400 Bar,The Cabooze, The Nomad World Pub, The Triple Rock Social Club, The Whiskey Junction and the Acadia Cafe. He then was filling in for a West Band fixture Cadillac Kolstad at Palmers. One thing lead to another and Nicholas was playing the Sunday Night Dance Party at Palmers on the West Bank.
Nicholas then found his way on a T.V. show called the Voice. While spending close to a year away from his family and home, one thing that gave him peace was all the reminders of HOME. The MN Music Scene. The Musicians and the places that allow them to play and share their gifts, and not to forget the booking agents behind the scenes moving things from point A to point B.
There was one spot that Nicholas David has never played that’s on the Bucket List of MN Musicians to play…
Please join Nicholas David in realizing a long time dream in sharing the joy of playing the historic Dakota
on Friday Jan. 22nd 2016.
Thanks to the your kind support, the tickets have been moving fast. We’ve now added a 9 pm show as well.
