This all-ages festival will be held in beautiful Smith Valley at Bluebird Springs Campground. Fun for the whole family! LODGING NOT INCLUDED IN TICKET PRICE. KIDS UNDER 10 FREE! Bluebird Campground has many camping and lodging options at Plan accordingly!!
Cheech’s Deecefest/Deece Productions will be following all CDC guidelines and will be working with the health department to ensure the safety of all guests at the fest. In that regard we will be limiting the amount of tickets to keep everyone safe until we have received information that is safe for us to release more. Everyone’s safety is our main priority. Mainspring is a community organization with the goal of celebrating and cultivating local culture in Houston County, Minnesota. Our vision is to provide meaningful opportunities for Houston County residents to connect, inspire, and be inspired.

Join us in Caledonia on Saturday, July 16 at 6:00 pm for a boot-tapping show from Gregg Hall & the Wrecking Ball!
About this event
Mainspring is pleased to announce the second year of outdoor summer concert series, “Songs of Summer”, featuring singer-songwriters performing in the Driftless Region on two evenings in July and August.
Thanks to local support and a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council, tickets are only $10/person or free for children 12 and under. They can be purchased online in advance of the show or at the event.
The series will kick off on Saturday, July 16 at 6:00 pm with Gregg Hall and the Wrecking Ball, an Americana country band from LaCrosse. Gregg Hall and the Wrecking Ball originates from the historic rivertown/musical mecca La Crosse, WI. Gregg Hall, founder of Deece Productions, has been a staple in the Midwest music scene for over a decade with his bands Mitgee Evers, Smokin’ Bandits, and outlaw country Minnesota legends the White Iron Band. Gregg Hall and the Wrecking Ball get back to their country roots and backwoods upbringing. With the release of the new album, “True Story,” GHWB solidifies their American country music sound.
All concerts will be held outdoors at the United Methodist Church lawn (308 N Kingston St., Caledonia) and will start at 6pm with seating beginning at 5pm. Tickets can be purchased online at

Gregg Hall, founder of Deece Productions, has been a staple in the Midwest music scene for over a decade with his bands Mitgee Evers, Smokin’ Bandits, Nicholas David and the Feelin’ Band, and outlaw country MinnThis band features some of the best musicians southwestern WI has to offer featuring: Gregg Hall (guitar, vocals), Laun Braithwiate (guitar, vocals), Corey Minor (drums), Dedrick Benz (bass), Dan Kimpel (pedal steel), and Lisa Freedlund(keyboards). GHWB is just good Ol’ American country music.esota legends the White Iron Band. Gregg Hall and the Wrecking Ball is his first solo project getting back to his country life style roots and back woods upbringing.
The Johnson Brothers. with Matt Pudas
Mitch and Brandon Johnson co-founded the band “Kind Country” in the winter of 2011 as the 2 founding guitarists. Along with their friend Max Graham on Mandolin and Nick Whelan on bass. The brothers toured nationally together in Kind Country until the fall of 2018. The Johnson Brothers have also started and played in numerous other Twin Cities bands. Recently in the spring of 2021 the brothers began playing shows under the name “The Johnson Brothers”. Each show features a rotating cast of musicians. You never know who will be at this one!!
