Are you passionate about music and events? Join us for a dynamic practicum opportunity as a Volunteer and Ticket Sales Coordinator for our small-scale music festival. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the festival’s success by managing the coordination of volunteers and ticket sales.

Ideal for college students majoring in event management, marketing, recreation, and related fields, this opportunity may contribute to earning college credits, you tell us!


  1. Volunteer Management:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for various festival tasks.
    • Develop volunteer schedules and ensure smooth on-site operations during the event.
    • Foster a positive and engaging volunteer experience.
  2. Onsite Ticket Sales Coordination:
    • Implement and manage the ticket sales strategy onsite for the festival.
    • Oversee the ticketing system and ensure a seamless purchasing process for attendees onsite
  3. Customer Service:
    • Act as a point of contact for ticket-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any ticketing issues efficiently.
  4. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Compile and analyze volunteer and ticket sales data to provide insights for future events.
    • Generate reports for festival management regarding attendance, sales, and volunteer participation.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other festival coordinators to ensure a cohesive and well-executed event.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to align volunteer efforts with promotional activities.
  6. On-Site Support:
    • Oversee on-site logistics related to volunteers and ticket sales during the festival.
    • Address any unforeseen challenges and make real-time adjustments to optimize operations.


  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in volunteer management or event coordination is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms and sales strategies.
  • Be onsite July 25-29, 2024 at Bluebird Campground.
